Tech Inspection and Drivers Meeting:
- Racer registration will be open Friday afternoon thru Saturday morning, please help us out and register as early as possible so we can get the event moving.
- Each racer will be required to go through tech at their first attended race. Upon completion of tech all vehicles passed will receive a tech sticker. This sticker will need to remain on the vehicle throughout the year and will enable the driver to skip tech the remainder of the season.
- Random tech inspection of previously certified vehicles WILL be enforced.
- Any new racers must come through the tech inspection line.
- All entered vehicles will be required to have all the necessary equipment per class rules or will not be allowed to enter the race. *Refer to tech rules below for specifics.
- All racers are required to have proper safety gear.
- All vehicles are required to have permanent numbers, you must put your permanent number on your tech card for each event.
Qualifying and Racing:
- We will run two rounds of qualifying; drivers are required to alternate lanes on each of their two qualifying runs.
- After 2 rounds of qualifying, we will be using a standard NHRA Pro Ladder for eliminations.
- During qualifying any vehicle that is pushed back BEFORE that vehicle lights the pre stage bulb, will be allowed to fix the issue and run at the end of the round. No extra time will be given, if that vehicle is not ready to come to the water box immediately following the last pair, that vehicle will not be allowed to make a run.
- In the event of identical qualifying elapsed times, the vehicle with the faster top speed recorded on the qualifying runs in question will be awarded the lower qualifying position.
- After the 2nd round of qualifying the qualifying order is final and the ladder will be set. If a racer is unable to make E1, their opponent will be run as a “broke-bye”.
- Lane choice goes to the higher qualified car in round 1 and will be awarded to the quickest elapsed time of the previous round every round after.
- Eliminations will be run in qualified order; #1 qualifier will be first pair out. It is the responsibility of the drivers to pair up at THE BACK of the lanes, and come to the front of the lanes with your pairing.
- On a bye run a driver must break the beams under the vehicles own power.
- The WhatsApp will call cars in GROUPS, DO NOT come to the lanes before you are called. If you do. you will be asked politely go to the back of the lanes.
Starting Line:
- There will be a limit of 3 crew members per car on the starting line, drivers will be given 3 wristbands at the drivers meeting for their crew members.
- Crew chiefs will be allowed to come look at the starting line prior to your pair but will be asked to clear the starting line in a reasonable time after inspecting the track.
Points:
- Points will be awarded each race to the driver
- Points will be combined between the Wisconsin Outlaw Series and the MKE River Redemption series over the 10 race schedule.
- Racers will be allowed to drop TWO races during the 10 race schedule.
- Racers who make 10 of 10 races will receive 100 bonus points.
- Racers who make 9 of 10 races will receive 50 bonus points.
Outlaw Street Specific:
- Outlaw Street will compete with a FLOATING index. 4.30-4.35-4.40-4.45
- Prior to Q1 Outlaw Street DRIVERS ONLY will be called to the lanes, 4 chips will be placed into the bag with 4 different ET’s written on them. One driver selected at random will choose a chip from the bag and that will be the index we run on that day.
- The chip drawn at the first race will remain OUT of the bag for the 2nd race, so no race will have the same index ran back-to-back. MKE River Redemption will also do this so their race following WOS will not have the same index ran also.
- EX: 4.45 is drawn during the May race, that chip will be left OUT of the bag for our June 5-6 race. If 4.30 is drawn during our June 5-6 race, the 4.30 chip will be left OUT of the bag during the MKE June 12-13 race AND for the WOS July 10-11 race.
- If a racer goes past the cap during qualifying, they will be placed on the bottom of the qualifying order. If a racer goes past the cap during both of their qualifying sessions, they will remain at the bottom of the qualifying order.
- Any car that runs quicker than the cap during eliminations will be disqualified
- First or Worst rule: Red light loses to a competitor who runs quicker than the cap
- Outlaw Street will be run as an all run field up to 32 car MAX.
- After the 2nd round of qualifying the qualifying order is final and the ladder will be set. If a racer is unable to make E1, their opponent will be run as a “broke-bye”.
